How we can work together
To inquire about working together and my availability, send a message via my contact form or on LinkedIn, and include the following information:
- Tell me what you’re working on and the type of edits you need
- If this is a one-off project or an ongoing freelance relationship
- What your timeline looks like
After we establish that information, we can schedule a 30-minute voice or video call via Zoom to discuss your (team’s) needs in detail. The first discovery call is always free. Subsequent calls will only occur once a working relationship has been agreed upon, and I will not take calls without prior engagement (via email or LinkedIn messages) first.
What type of editing packages do you offer?
I offer the following editing types in a few different package formats. Those with asterisks next to the package name are for monthly retainer clients ONLY.

How do you charge?
Unless it’s a one-off project (i.e. a one-time assignment with no future work, or a client with only sporadic bursts of work and no consistency), I prefer to work on retainer.
- Long-term: Monthly retainer with a 3-month guaranteed contract, up to 12 months
- Short-term: One-month project with either a single deliverable or multiple deliverables, charged on retainer
- One-off: Charged hourly with a minimum of 5 hours of charged time, or per page depending on the content and project scope
For monthly retainers and long-term contracts, I require direct deposit and a legally-binding contract. For shorter-term and one-off projects, I accept Venmo and Zelle. I will only take PayPal if you pay the fee to send money as the app deducts a percentage of my final earnings.
FAQs
Are you able to complete a test project before we decide to work together?
Absolutely! But I do not do test projects for free. I charge a per page rate for test projects. This is not how I charge for actual work.
Do you do one-off projects if I need help just once or twice?
Yes! Depending on the type of content, I charge either per page (mostly for academic content) or per hour, with a minimum of 5 hours of charged time as a requirement for one-off services.
Can you help with SEO even if I don’t work with you on a retainer basis?
Sorry, only clients who book me on a retainer basis at the Premier Editing Package level receive SEO edits as part of their deal!
Do you do book, script, screenplay, and other types of creative editing?
I don’t have a lot of experience in these areas, but I am highly experienced in editing as a whole. I previously edited scripts in grad school and would be happy to take another stab at it now. For this reason, I offer a free 1-page edit for these specialty editing types to see if we’d be a good fit!
